Toms pro

Tom Brown

Tom first came for lessons in the late 1990s and quickly I could see real potential with regard both teaching and looking after clients.

Toms easy going and laid back personality make a day in his company a real tonic for anyone.

He has worked with me now for a number of years, both teaching and hosting groups of fishers and I can say without a doubt, he is one of the finest and fun people you are likely to meet on the river bank.

Based in Perthshire, Tom is now very well respected in the world of salmon fishing in his own right, a real professional with an eagerness to excel in anything he does.

Clients can book Tom for lessons on the river Tay where he has good relationships with a few key beat owners and ghillies.

chris pro

Chris Backlund

Chris Backlund is our expert on all things Norway. A native Norwegian, he has fished a huge number of Norwegian rivers and has great knowledge of where and when to fish.

A brilliant caster and teacher, Chris has accompanied me on all my fishing and casting courses this year, learning all about my particular style of teaching. We plan to do more courses here next year and also for me to visit some of those Norwegian rivers known to Chris but not yet most people from the UK.

This promises to be a really exciting road trip and one which I know my clients will benefit greatly from when coming here with us in 2019.
