Gordon Castle/Brae Water is the largest beat on the river. Situated on the first 8 miles from the sea and Consisting of 3 House beats  and 5 let beats it offers more rods [35] than any other on the river.

The Facilities are more sparse than most Spey beats But each beat has a fishing hut and chemical toilet for the 5 rods fishing. Each beat has reasonable vehicular access and most pools are very easy to wade.
